Hi all, thanks to Heidi for a great theme. Mitch and I recently went to Monkey World when he came to visit, its not a zoo its a rescue centre for animals from around the world that for whatever reason can not be returned to the wild. They do an amazing job.

I am not big into human portraits, but I do love animal portraits and I think they lend themselves to Black and White Photography.

So my images are all shots from our shoot at Monkey World. I hope you like them.

Many thanks to Benni for hosting this week. A fun theme....literally!! LOL.  As soon as I saw the theme I thought of all the fun to be had in Florida, so all my shots are from my last visit there.

1) These 'rednecks' where having fun annoying the keeper (middle) at Gatorland.

2) These goofy gardeners were driving around Epcot, having lots of fun with the tourists.

3) What's more fun that being chased by a T.Rex at 'Islands Of Adventure'?

4) These 'extras' got more than they bargained for when they volunteered to take part in a WW2 scene at Hollywood Studios!!

Hi, this is Benni, here I am hosting from Michigan's spring. What a magnificent animal we have as our banner, well done Barry.

For a theme I have chosen "Fun and Play". You might choose people playing a game or just playing around.  Animals play as well and you might choose those. Or even light playing on the water. Feel free to be creative. Here are my pictures, hope you enjoy them.

Afternoon all, a bit late posting I was working in the garden all morning. 

OK an interesting theme unfortunately, I live in Sheep and Grain country not a lot of cattle around here. 

So I had to dig deep into the archives for this weeks shots the first two from before I moved down here, on a hike around Hartley Wintney when I lived for 35 years. 

The Second two from a trip around the New Forest also before I moved down here.

Many thank to Anders for hosting this week and for his bovine theme!! Had to do some digging in my archive this this one, including one that's a play on the name.

1) Contented cattle sunbathing.

2) This cow looks like it has ink-spots on it's nose!!

3) Funny-looking cow?? It's a Cattle Egret!! LOL

4) This lot seemed to be saying "If we ignore him, perhaps he'll go away!!"
