  1. Hi Anders!! Great shots for this week's theme!! All great example of living in earlier times. I'm assuming the equipment in the first shot is to do with washing. Meal times didn't look too comfortable in photo two. Is that a bed in the third shot, behind the child's crib? A most unusual design!! Bread-making in the kitchen was a staple of earlier times.

    1. Thanks, Mitch. Indeed washtrough most likely. They sure didnt. The beds sure were cramped. Bread was indeed a regular staple at this time.

  3. I liked your photos from the museum very much. We have a similar museum in Switzerland in Ballenberg, where there are houses brough together in one place. It is interesting to see how everything was made of wood in the days gone by.

  4. Oh, Anders, you have captured my heart. I absolutely love pictures of how people lived in bygone days, especially how they went about daily chores such as washing. And how they slept in cold temperatures. Wonderful pictures, very nicely taken!
